Abstract:
Provided is a thermoplastic resin fiber which has small reduction in strength even at room temperature and in a hot state, and has improved heat resistance, while maintaining characteristics of a phenoxy resin, such as favorable moldability and excellent adhesiveness to a reinforcing fiber base material or the like. This thermoplastic resin fiber spun from a resin composition containing a first thermoplastic resin and a second thermoplastic resin is characterized in that: the first thermoplastic resin is a phenoxy resin; the second thermoplastic resin is a polyamide resin; and the blending ratio of the first thermoplastic resin to the second thermoplastic resin is 99:1 to 10:90.
