The present invention provides: a thermosetting adhesive sheet which can be stored at room temperature and completes bonding without requiring a curing process after thermal compression bonding, while being capable of suppressing bonding defects such as lifting, separation and voids after the bonding even in a high-temperature high-humidity environment; and such a sub gasket for fuel cells.　The present invention provides a thermosetting adhesive sheet 10 that is used for the purpose of sealing the periphery of an electrolyte membrane-electrode structure, which is obtained by arranging electrodes on both sides of a solid polymer electrolyte membrane, of a fuel cell. This thermosetting adhesive sheet 10 comprises an adhesive layer 14 which is formed of a cured product of an adhesive composition that contains a polyurethane resin having a reactive functional group and a crosslinking agent; the adhesive layer 14 has a gel fraction of 60% by mass or more; the storage elastic modulus (G'100) at 100°C of the adhesive layer 14 is 5.0 × 104 Pa to 1.0 × 108 Pa; and the decrease rate of the storage elastic modulus (G'120) at 120°C relative to the storage elastic modulus (G'100) at 100°C is 0.5 or less.
