Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of manufacturing of adhesives, and provides a thermosetting starch adhesive for a man-made board, and a manufacturing method therefor. In the present invention, starch is used as the main raw material, and after acidolysis of the starch, a semi-continuous seed emulsion polymerization method is employed to improve the control of monomer polymerization stability. After grafting is completed, crosslinking monomers of two functional groups, i.e., a polymerizable double bond and condensable hydroxymethyl, are added for copolymerization, wherein the cross-linking monomers are also added in a semi-continuous manner; after the cross-linking reaction is completed, gelatinization is performed and the temperature is maintained to finally obtain a thermosetting adhesive that can be used for bonding of a hot-pressed mad-made board. The adhesive in the present invention has properties of two-step cross-linking, and quick cross-linking curing at high temperature, and has a good film formation property, good heat resistance, and strong cohesion; man-made boards manufactured by the developed adhesive applying mode, temperature, and pressure and a matching hot-pressing process have properties better than Type II man-made boards; the present invention can be widely used for bonding of hot-pressed wood decorations, man-made boards, and plywood.
