Abstract:
Provided is a thick steel sheet that has excellent internal quality properties and high strength, and can be manufactured at a low cost without requiring special equipment. The thick steel sheet has a prescribed component composition and satisfies the relationship Ceq/t ≥ 0.0015, and the area ratio of gap defects in a central position of the sheet thickness is 0.5% or less.
