Abstract:
Provided are a thick steel sheet, and a method for producing same. A thick steel sheet according to the present invention has a specific component composition, in which Ceq defined by the following expression (1) and a sheet thickness t satisfy 0.0004t+0.25≤Ceq≤0.55, wherein the average crystal grain diameter of a steel structure at the center position of the sheet thickness is at most 20 μm, and the concentrations of Mn, P, and S in the sheet thickness central segregation part satisfy the following expression (2). (1): Ceq=[C]+[Mn]/6+([Cr]+[Mo]+[V])/5+([Cu]+[Ni])/15 (2): [Mn*]+20[P*]+50[S*]≤15
