Abstract:
Provided is a compact, high-capacity thin secondary battery. The thin secondary battery comprises: an external housing (200); a power generation element (300) having a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator interposed between the positive and negative electrodes, inserted in this external housing (200); and a band-shaped positive electrode lead (110) and a band-shaped negative electrode lead (120) that are electrically connected to the positive and negative electrodes and extend externally, through a rim section (261) of the external housing (200). The positive electrode lead (110) and the negative electrode lead (120) are electrically insulated by a band-shaped electrical insulator (130), and stacked.
