Abstract:
An SGLT2 (sodium glucose transport protein 2) inhibitor having a novel molecular structure, a preparation method therefor, and a use thereof. The SGLT2 inhibitor is a thioglycoside gliflozin analogue; same is designed using C-glycoside and O-glycoside gliflozin as templates, and is formed by linking glycosyl and aglycone parts via sulfur atoms. In bioactivity testing, the thioglycoside gliflozin analogue exhibits low cytotoxicity and resistance to β-glucosidase hydrolysis, and the inhibitory activity on SGLT2 is equivalent to a corresponding gliflozin drug, and thus the thioglycoside gliflozin analogue is a potential drug for treating type-2 diabetes.
