Abstract:
Provided are: a thiol group-containing colored compound with which a transparent conductive film that is capable of suppressing scattering of external light and has small sheet resistance can be produced by the colored compound being adsorbed to a metal nanowire main body (by surface-treating the metal nanowire main body with the colored compound) without melting the metal nanowire main body, and thereby an information input device or an electronic device can be produced for which bright black preventing property (photopic contrast) and electrode pattern invisibility can be improved; metal nanowires which are surface-treated with the thiol group-containing colored compound; a dispersion which comprises the metal nanowires; a transparent conductive film which includes the metal nanowires; an information input device which comprises the transparent conductive film; and an electronic device which comprises the transparent conductive film. The thiol group-containing colored compound includes a chromophore that has absorption in a visible light region, a thiol group, and a spacer provided between the chromophore and the thiol group. The spacer is a straight chain alkylene group having 2 to 30 carbon atoms, a cyclic alkylene group having 3 to 30 carbon atoms, or a derivative of the alkylene groups in which the number of carbon atoms in an additional structure of the alkylene groups is equal to or less than the number of carbon atoms of the alkylene groups.
