Title:
THREAD FEED DEVICE FOR TEXTILE MACHINES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2002002856
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a thread feed device (1) for a textile machine (3), comprising one or several motors (26, 52), which are controlled in a manner dependent on a signal derived from the textile machine (3). The control of the motors preferably occurs with a non-linear dependence on the control signal na. Furthermore, other signals are preferably linked with the control signal na. According to the invention, should there be several motors to drive the thread feed device with one belt, the motors should cooperate groupwise, whereby just one motor (26) of the group is position-controlled and takes over control as master motor. The other motors (52, 52a) etc. support the master motor by generating a corresponding torque, following the above, according to the positioning thereof and thus work as slave motors. Each individual measure improves the match of the delivered thread amount to the actual requirements and thus reduces the formation of sections with stitching of different size to that required or other quality problems, in particular, on altering the speed of the textile machine. The total measures permits complete avoidance of sections of different size stitching, or the effects of other parameters on the length of the stitching.
