Abstract:
A thread having a function for judging genuineness combining a kind of metallic phenomenon of a visible light region and an infrared region with a multilayer pearl gloss film, and an anti-forgery sheet employing that thread. The thread having a function for judging genuineness is provided, on one side of the multilayer pearl gloss film (1) having the function of transmitting both visible light and infrared rays, with a print layer (3a) of patterns, characters and the like having a function for absorbing infrared rays, a print layer (3b) of patterns, characters and the like having a function for reflecting infrared rays, and an adhesive layer (4). The print layer (3a) of patterns, characters and the like having a function for absorbing infrared rays and the print layer (3b) of patterns, characters and the like having a function for reflecting infrared rays appear to be in the same color under ordinary light but exhibit different spectral reflectivity in the infrared region.
