A thread transmission structure, an optical system using the transmission structure, and a spotlight (100). The thread transmission structure comprises a sliding element (2) and a rotation regulation ring (7) sleeved on the outer ring of the sliding element (2). The rotation regulation ring (7) is in threaded connection with the sliding element (2). The rotation regulation ring (7) is provided with inner threads (710). The sliding element (2) is provided with outer threads (220), and comprises a plurality of threaded segments (221, 222, 223, 224) arranged at intervals along a circumferential direction. The thread segments (221, 222, 223, 224) form at least one circle of disconnected external threads (220), and the inner threads (710) and the outer threads (220) are trapezoidal or rectangular in tooth types. The rotation regulation ring (7) rotates relative to the sliding element (2) and can pushe the sliding element (2) to slide along an axial direction. The thread transmission structure has high transmission efficiency, that is, when the rotation regulation ring (7) rotates by one turn, the sliding element (2) has a long straight line travel.
