Abstract:
In this three-dimensional measurement device, a measurement device body calculates the position and direction of a distance sensor. Further, the measurement device body determines a movement candidate that is a candidate for the position and direction to which the distance sensor should be moved next. Additionally, the measurement device body acquires an intra-movement-candidate characteristic that is a characteristic at the movement candidate that can be observed by the distance sensor and uses the intra-movement-candidate characteristic to evaluate the stability of mapping at the movement candidate. The measurement device body presents a distance-sensor movement direction and/or movement speed to the user on the basis of the evaluation result.
