Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of computer vision, particularly to a three-dimensional mesh optimization method, a device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring a plurality of candidate image pairs from among a plurality of images, and an initial surface of a three-dimensional model; selecting a target image pair from among the plurality of candidate image pairs according to a first condition, wherein the first condition is set on the basis of the area of a common-view region; and calculating a mesh optimization error according to the target image pair. In the embodiments of the present invention, a target image pair is selected according to a first condition set on the basis of the area of a common-view region, and thus the selection of the image pair is based on the area setting of the common-view region so as to measure the common characteristics of different images in the common-view region, so that the image pair meeting the requirements of the common-view region is selected, thereby reducing the error influence caused by region discontinuousness and by two images for their own reasons, and making the calculation of a mesh optimization error more accurate.
