Abstract:
To provide a thrust support mechanism in which leakage of a fluid in a high-pressure space to a low-pressure space side is unlikely to occur. A thrust support mechanism 8 is provided to the back surface of a movable scroll 42 which slides relative to a fixed scroll 41 accompanied by eccentric rotation and is capable of generating dynamic pressure on the back surface of the movable scroll 42. The thrust support mechanism 8 comprises a dynamic pressure generation unit 81 provided with a first groove 85 in communication with a low-pressure side 20 and a second groove 86 in communication with a buffer space between the inner-diameter end and the outer-diameter end of the thrust support mechanism 8.
