Abstract:
The present invention relates to a time of flight ranging system and a ranging method therefor. The ranging method comprises: performing scattering detection and obtaining a scattering coefficient of pixel units in the sensing array, specifically comprising: emitting scattering detection light into a detection field of view, wherein the detection field of view comprises tested objects at different distances, and is divided into a short-distance region and a long-distance region; obtaining detection values of reflected light and scattered light generated by the reflected light generated in the pixel units; and calculating the ratio of the detection values generated by the pixel units to the sum of detection values generated by all the pixel units in the whole sensing array to serve as the scattering coefficient corresponding to the pixel unit; performing distance measurement and obtaining initial measurement values output by the pixel units; correcting, according to the scattering coefficient, initial measurement values output by at least some of the pixel units to obtain corrected measurement values; and calculating the corrected measurement distance according to the corrected measurement values. The ranging method can eliminate the influence of a short-distance object to the detection result of a long-distance object.
