Abstract:
If there is a time difference between the region in which a piece of equipment is located and the region in which a server is located, for example, as a result of which the time base used by the piece of equipment differs from the time base used by the server, then time information supplied by the server to the piece of equipment is offset relative to the time base used by the piece of equipment.
In this time information supplying system, time information set by a terminal device such as a mobile telephone is supplied via a management server (server) to an air conditioner (piece of equipment). In this time information supplying system, if the time base used by the air conditioner differs from the time base used by the management server, then prior to or following the supply of the time information from the management server to the air conditioner, said time information is converted from time information based on the time base used by the management server to time information based on the time base used by the air conditioner (S4).
