Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a time-service method and apparatus. The method comprises: a first device sending a first reference signal to a second device, wherein the moment when a baseband of the first device sends the first reference signal is a first moment, and the moment when a baseband of the second device receives the first reference signal is a second moment; the first device receiving a second reference signal from the second device, wherein the moment when the baseband of the first device receives the second reference signal is a third moment, and the moment when the baseband of the second device sends the second reference signal is a fourth moment; the first device receiving a first duration from the second device, wherein the first duration is related to the second moment and the fourth moment; and the first device calculating a propagation delay between the first device and the second device on the basis of the first moment, the third moment and the first duration. In the technical solution provided in the present application, a propagation delay is calculated by using the moments when a baseband of a first device and a baseband of a second device send/receive reference signals, and thus an error caused by the estimation of a channel delay being inaccurate can be prevented.
