Abstract:
A transfer device (10) sets, as a target port, each of a plurality of ports that receive via different transfer devices (10) time information which has been transmitted from a master device (40). The transfer device (10) calculates, with respect to the target ports, a cumulative frequency deviation that is a cumulative value of frequency deviations from the master device (40). On the basis of the cumulative frequency deviation, the transfer device (10) determines a time synchronization port from among the plurality of ports. The transfer device (10) updates local time on the basis of time information received by the determined time synchronization port.
