Abstract:
A time synchronization system is provided that is capable of suppressing the occurrence of time synchronization errors and enhancing time synchronization accuracy. The time synchronization system is provided with a reference time transmission device (10) for transmitting a reference time as first time information, an intermediate time master device (20) for synchronizing intermediate time information with the first time information transmitted from the reference time transmission device and transmitting the intermediate time information as second time information, and a plurality of terminal devices (30a to 30d) for synchronizing the local time of the device itself with the second time information transmitted from the intermediate time master device and carrying out processing on the basis of the local time. The intermediate time master device and the plurality of terminal devices are provided with a common time period for the transmission of the second time information, in which the second time information is transmitted between the intermediate time master device and the plurality of terminal devices. The intermediate time master device is set so that a time period for intermediate time synchronization, in which the first time information is acquired and the intermediate time information is synchronized, and the time period for the transmission of the second time information, in which the second time information is transmitted, are separate.
