Abstract:
A tinnitus treatment device using a surround sound virtual reality interface of the present invention comprises: a display unit mounted on a user's head to display a VR image including a ringing-sensation avatar to the subject; a virtual environment object unit for generating the ringing-sensation avatar by visualizing a ringing sensation sensed by the user; a surround sound processing unit for generating a 3D sound so as to allow the user to sense mixed sounds combined with the ringing sensation; a sound output unit for outputting the 3D sound to the user; and a VR image control unit for changing the content in the VR image in accordance with a user input signal provided from a user interface. The VR image control unit: controls the ringing-sensation avatar displayed in the VR image in accordance with the user input signal; and changes the output of the 3D sound in accordance with the control of the ringing-sensation avatar.
