Abstract:
A tip cover device (3) is configured having: a tip cover body (55) which is formed from a hard, insulating material and which is detachably fixed to the outer periphery of the tip part (8) of an insertion unit (5); a ring cover (56) which is formed from an elastic, insulating material and which is detachably fixed to the outer periphery of the tip cover body (55) and the tip part (8); a raising base (51) which is provided in the tip cover body (51); a shaft part (70) which is provided in the tip cover body (55) and which links the raising base (51) displaceably (swingably) to the tip cover body (55); and an operation wire (76) which is linked to the raising base (51) and which is pulled by an operator to actuate the raising base (51).
