Title:
TIP-OVER PREVENTION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/102110
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A tip-over prevention device capable of meeting conditions of installation surfaces and side surfaces of various OA equipment without causing inconvenience in taking in and out different cartridges of the OA equipment including printers. The tip-over prevention device does not require a dedicated tool to separate a bonded section when the OA equipment is moved. A tip-over prevention device (1) is constructed from an L-shaped thin plate (15) formed from a part of a Z-shaped thin plate (10) and from a belt fixation member (50). The L-shaped thin plate (15) is constructed from a portion of a belt-like flat plate (20) of the Z-shaped thin plate (10) and from a fixation section (A30), the portion of the belt-like flat plate (20) being the remaining of a belt-like plate (20) obtained by cutting off a fixation plate (B40) near its root. The fixation plate (A30) is fixed to an end of the belt-like flat plate (20) at a substantially right angle to the flat plate (20). The belt fixation member (50) is constructed from a base member (60) and a hold-down member (80). A rear surface section (75) of the base member (60) and the fixation plate (A30) form a substantially right angle to each other. As a result, when an adhesive member is adhered to the back surface (75) of the base member (60) and then adhered to a side surface of an OA apparatus, and an adhesive member is adhered to an external surface section (34) of the fixation section (A30) and then adhered and fixed to an installation surface of the OA apparatus, the OA apparatus is prevented from tipping over.
