Abstract:
The rotational positions of vehicle wheels when a wireless signal containing certain identifying information is transmitted are acquired at multiple different centrifugal accelerations, the rotational positions are stored as rotational position data of the vehicle wheels, approximate curves are calculated from the distribution of rotational positions in the rotational position data relative to the centrifugal accelerations of the rotational positions, and the left-to-right position of a transmitter corresponding to the identifying information is determined on the basis of the shape of the approximate curve of the rotational position data having the smallest degree of variation among rotational positions relative to the approximate curve.
