Abstract:
A tire air pressure monitor device comprises: a first abnormality determination means (S2) for determining conditions to be normal when the front wheel air pressure is higher than a front wheel warning threshold of 400 [kPa] and the rear wheel tire air pressure is higher than a rear wheel warning threshold of 240 [kPa], and for turning on a warning light (6) in all other cases; and a second abnormality determination means (S3, S4) for keeping the warning light (6) turned off regardless of the determination result of the first abnormality determination means when the warning light (6) is turned off while the vehicle is stopped, the tire air pressures of two wheels are determined to be higher than the front wheel warning threshold of 400 [kPa], and the tire air pressures of the other two wheels are determined to be higher than the rear wheel warning threshold of 240 [kPa].
