Abstract:
A hand-held tire groove measuring device 1 comprises a range sensor 21 that detects the distance between a tire 30 and the tire groove measuring device 1 and a processing device 10 that generates, on the basis of output data of the range sensor 21 , contour shape data 50 indicating a contour shape of the tire 30. The processing device 10 detects a plurality of main grooves 41 on the basis of the contour shape data 50, deletes data corresponding to portions of the plurality of main grooves 41 from the contour shape data 50, interpolates the deleted portions of the plurality of main grooves 41 for the contour shape data 50 from which the data on the portions of the plurality of main grooves 41 has been deleted, generates trajectory data 51 indicating a trajectory of a movement of the tire groove measuring device 1, compares the trajectory data 51 and reference shape data 52 prepared in advance and indicating a contour shape of the tire 30 serving as a reference with each other to generate camera shake component data 53 indicating a camera shake component, and uses the camera shake component data 53 to correct the contour shape data 50 before the deletion of the data on the portions of the plurality of main grooves 41.
