Abstract:
Provided are: a tire wherein a carcass ply is obtained by arranging, in the tire circumferential direction, tape-shaped members in which a plurality of carcass cords arranged parallel to each other have been covered with a rubber, the tape width of the tape-shaped members is 1 to 10 mm, two of the tape-shaped members adjacent in the tire circumferential direction on the tire equatorial plane have tire-circumferential-direction ends abutting each other, and at the ends of the carcass ply, the two tape-shaped members adjacent in the tire circumferential direction overlap only at the rubber sections; and a method for manufacturing the tire.
