Abstract:
Provided is a tire molding die (1) comprising a tread molding section (20) configured so that a plurality of segments (21) open and close by moving in the radial direction. The tire molding die (1) is characterized in that each of the segments (21) includes a holder (22), a plurality of design surface split die sections (23) arranged side by side in the circumferential direction on the inner side of the holder (22) in the radial direction, and a plate spring member (25) that has the plurality of design surface split die sections (23) fixed thereto and is fixed to the holder (22) on both ends in the circumferential direction. The tire molding die (1) is also characterized in that the plurality of design surface split die sections (23) rotate while moving away from the holder (22) as a result of elastic deformation of the plate spring member (25) when the tread molding section (20) is opened. Also provided is a tire production method using the tire molding die (1).
