Abstract:
Disclosed are a tire rental service providing system and method, which collect state information about a tire and provide same to a user, and determine the state of the tire on the basis of the state information so as to guide the user through a tire replacement period. The disclosed tire rental service providing system comprises: a tire sensor module for sensing the tire state information about a rental tire provided on a vehicle; a communication module for transmitting, through the Sigfox network, tire information and the tire state information sensed by the tire sensor module; a cloud server for connecting the tire state information and tire information, having been transmitted from the communication module, and storing same; and a tire management server which determines whether the tire is to be replaced on the basis of the tire state information stored in the cloud server, and which provides a tire replacement alarm to a user terminal when the tire is determined to be replaced.
