Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a tire rubber composition which has excellent workability and has low heat build-up when formed into a tire; and a pneumatic tire using the same. This tire rubber composition includes diene rubber (A) and fine particles (B), the content of vinyl groups of the diene rubber (A) being 5-35 mass%, and the fine particles (B) being organic fine particles having a mercapto group in which a cross-linkable oligomer or a polymer (b1) is cross-linked. The average particle size of the fine particles (B) is 1-200 μm, and the content of the fine particles (B) is 1-55 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the diene rubber (A).
