Abstract:

[Problem] To propose a technology with which it is easy to perform the task of attaching a tire valve so that an electronic apparatus will be arranged at a regular rotational position with respect to a tire wheel. [Solution] This tire valve 10A comprises: a valve stem 11 that is passed through a valve mounting hole 92 of a rim 91 and threads through a nut 40; a locking unit 13 jutting out to the side from a proximal end part of the valve stem 11; an electronic apparatus 50 that has a coupling unit 52A that fits onto the outside of the locking unit 13; and a support ring 30A that is passed through the valve stem 11, and as a result of the tightening of the nut 40 the support ring is supported, along with a part of the coupling unit 52A, between the locking unit 13 and an opening edge of the valve mounting hole 92. Provided between the support ring 30A and the electronic apparatus 50 are guide units (a pair of guide slopes 35 and a pair of tapered guide surfaces 57) that come into sliding contact with one another due to the approach of the support ring 30A and the electronic apparatus 50 associated with tightening of the nut 40 to guide the support ring 30A and the electronic apparatus 50 to the regular rotational position.
