Abstract:
A signal processing unit (13) of a tire-side device (1) is provided with: a condition detection unit (13b) that detects whether the condition of a road surface is wet or other than wet; and a level acquisition unit (13g) and/or a level calculation unit (13e). The level acquisition unit (13g) sets, as a device arrangement location, a portion of a tire (3) that corresponds to an arrangement location of the tire-side device (1), and when it has been detected that the road surface is wet, acquires, from a tire (3) vibration waveform indicated by a detection signal, a peak level value, which is a peak vibration level at the time of treading, that is, the time when the device arrangement location makes contact with the road surface. The level calculation unit (13e) calculates a level value of a vibration level at a post-kick-out region, which is a region after the device arrangement location has left the road surface. A control unit (13) then generates wear data which indicates the peak level value at the time of the treading and/or the level value of the post-kick-out region.
