Abstract:
Provided is a tire comprising a helical cord layer at a tire crown section, wherein fatigue fracture of a reinforcement cord of the helical cord layer can be curbed. This tire is provided with: a carcass that extends in a toroidal shape between a pair of bead sections; and a helical cord layer that is arranged in a crown section of the carcass, at the outer side in the tire radial direction, and that is obtained by winding a reinforcement cord 1a in a helical shape and forming an upper layer and a lower layer. The reinforcement cord of the helical cord layer is composed of a non-metallic fiber. A twisting direction of filaments 1f constituting the reinforcement cord of the helical cord layer and a winding direction of the reinforcement cord in the helical cord layer are the same.
