Abstract:
This titanium alloy plate has a specified chemical composition, in which: a metal structure is composed of an α-phase and second phases, the average crystal grain diameter in the α-phase is 3.0 to 10.0 μm; the percentage of crystal grains each having a crystal grain diameter falling within a range of 2 μm either side of the average crystal grain diameter is 25% or more in the α-phase; the percentage of crystal grains each having a crystal grain diameter falling within a range of 4 μm either side of the average crystal grain diameter is 45% or more in the α-phase; and, when a region having a size of 100 μm × 100 μm in a cross-sectional surface is divided equally into 100 parts to produce 100 regions each having a size of 10 μm × 10 μm, the 100 regions are employed as measurement regions, and the density of the second phases is determined in each of the measurement regions, the number of the measurement regions in each of which 5 to 15 inclusive of the second phases are observed is 80 or more.
