Abstract:
A titanium carbonitride powder which is used in a starting material for a hard material, and wherein if D50 is the 50% cumulative particle diameter, D10 is the 10% cumulative particle diameter and D90 is the 90% cumulative particle diameter in the volume-based particle size distribution, D50 is from 2.0 μm to 6.0 μm (inclusive) and D10/D90 is from 0.20 to 0.50 (inclusive).
