Abstract:
A titanium composite material 1 is provided with a first surface layer section 2, an inner layer section 4, and a second surface layer section 3. The first surface layer section 2 and the second surface layer section 3 comprise a titanium alloy. The inner layer section 4 comprises industrial pure titanium having voids therein. The thickness of at least one of the first surface layer section 2 and the second surface layer section 3 is 2 µm or more, and the proportion of the total thickness of the titanium composite material 1 occupied by said thickness is 40% or less. The volume fraction of the voids in a cross section perpendicular to the plate thickness direction is greater than 0% and equal to or less than 30%.
