Abstract:
The present invention relates to titanium deoxidation method and deoxidation apparatus, and the titanium deoxidation method according to the present invention comprises: a charging step of placing a titanium raw material, which is composed of titanium or a titanium alloy, and a deoxidizer in one container so that the titanium raw material and the deoxidizer are arranged to be spaced from each other; and a heating step of heating the container, wherein the deoxidizer comprises calcium and magnesium. Therefore, deoxidation process can be readily and economically carried out.
