Abstract:
A toilet seat device comprising a main body provided to the upper rear portion of a toilet, a toilet seat attached to the main body, and a toilet lid (4) which opens/closes the upper portion of the toilet seat, wherein: the toilet lid comprises a toilet lid main body which blocks the upper portion of the toilet seat, and a first shaft engaging element (42) which is attached to the toilet lid main body and is detachable from a first shaft (24) provided to the main body; the first shaft engaging element is configured so as to be capable of switching between an engaged state, in which said first shaft engaging element is engaged with the first shaft, and a disengaged state, in which said first shaft engaging element is disengaged from the first shaft; and if, when in the engaged state, the toilet lid main body is pressed in a direction away from the toilet seat, a switch is made to the disengaged state.
