Abstract:
Provided is a toilet seat structure for an aircraft lavatory unit, the toilet seat structure being useful for preventing breakage of the toilet seat and also for enhancing the efficiency of cleaning a lower surface of the toilet seat. A cushion block 26 is formed from a single band-shaped body 42A extending in a band shape along the entire peripheral direction of a toilet seat 22, the band-shaped body 42A having a prescribed width. The band-shaped body 42A exhibits a long and narrow shape as a cross-sectional shape in a cross-section taken in a plane orthogonal to the extension direction of the band-shaped body 42A. The band-shaped body 42A has a flat upper surface 4202, a flat lower surface 4204, and an inclined surface 4206 provided on both width-direction sides thereof. The upper surface 4202 of the band-shaped body 42A is mounted on a lower surface 3602 of a main body plate part 36 by an adhesive agent, and the inclined surfaces 4206 form an obtuse angle θ with respect to the lower surface 3602 of the main body plate part 36.
