Title:
TOILET STOOL CLEANING METHOD AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1996/006237
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A toilet stool cleaning method and a toilet stool cleaning apparatus, which, as compared with a conventional method which adds acid substances, eliminates the need of maintenance, provides safety for users, can effectively prevent a toilet stool from becoming dirty and effectively suppresses generation of ammonia to prevent successfully an offensive smell. Provided to a toilet stool (A1) is a continous type electrolysis vessel (1) having at least a pair of electrodes, a flow passage formed between the electrodes, and a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet which communicate to the flow passage. City water is subjected to electrolysis by the continuous type electrolysis vessel (1) to generate free chlorine. When water containing free chlorine thus generated is made to flow in the toilet stool (A1), the water containing free chlorine sterilizes the inside of the toilet stool to suppress decomposition of urea caused by enzyme urease which is contained in bacteria. Thus sticking of a urinary calculus to the surfaces of a toilet stool and a toilet stool trap, coloring of the toilet stool and the toilet stool trap, and generation of an offensive smell are suppressed.
