Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a toner exhibiting excellent light resistance. A toner having toner mother particles containing a binder resin, a wax, and a coloring agent, wherein the coloring agent contains a dye compound represented by general formula (1). (In general formula (1), R1 and R2 each independently represent an alkyl group or an acyl group, or R1 and R2 may bind and form a cyclic organic functional group containing a nitrogen atom, to which R1 and R2 bind, as a hetero atom; R3 and R4 each independently represent an alkyl group; R5 and R6 each independently represent an alkyl group or an alkoxy group; R7 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, or an alkoxy group; and R8 represents an alkyl group.)
