Abstract:
The invention concerns a tool for assistance in mounting fabric mats in a frame for maintaining said mats stretched, characterized in that it comprises a substantially planar surface whereof the free edge (3) includes two sections (3a, 3b) linked by a rounded end (9), said two sections (3a, 3b) forming a first angle (A), said tool (1) comprising means for forming a supporting abutment for a member exerting a force on the tool, force whereof the resultant is oriented opposite the opening of the first angle (A) and in particular along the bisector of the two sections (3a, 3b) or still substantially perpendicular to one or the other of said two sections (3a, 3b).
