Abstract:
The present invention relates to a tool cooling system of a machine tool, the tool cooling system comprising: a tool post body; a turret installed on the tool post body and having a plurality of tools mounted thereon; an indexing unit for rotating the turret; and a cooling unit having a supply flow path and a transfer flow path, and cooling one or more of the tools mounted on the turret, wherein, when the turret is indexed, the transfer flow path selectively communicates with the supply flow path according to an indexing angle of the turret, and thus, by means of a cooling fluid received through the supply flow path, cools a processing tool for processing a workpiece, and pre-cools a standby tool.
