Abstract:
The present invention relates to a tool and method for internal and external powder embedding and molten silicon infiltration of a 2D, 3DN ceramic matrix composite component, and aims at solving the technical problems that during the preparation, by means of an RMI process, of a large-size 3DN nozzle preform having a circular cross-section in the 2D, 3DN ceramic matrix composite component, a 2D part is easily eroded by a silicon melt to cause performance degradation, the high temperature modification of the 3DN nozzle preform at the contact surface position between the 2D part and the 3DN nozzle preform is difficult, the process of overall densification of the component is difficult, and the 3DN nozzle preform is easily deformed during a modification process. The tool comprises a crucible, a 2D part graphite protection tool, a graphite column, a graphite supporting piece, a graphite inner support, a composite deformation control tool, and (N-1) first annular graphite paper stack layers, N being greater than or equal to 3. The method is carried out using the tool; process methods, such as pre-tool protection of the 2D part b, and internal and external powder embedding and filling, are used in combination with a specific tool, such that the near-net-size RMI process of a large-size ceramic matrix composite component having a circular cross-section is implemented, thereby reducing the difficulty of subsequent processing and assembling.
