Abstract:
The present invention provides a tool transport device (10) that transports a tool (T) between a machine tool (M) having a tool magazine (TM) holding multiple tools (T) and a tool storage device storing the multiple tools. The tool transport device (10) includes: a moving device (11) that has a moving table (15) and moves, on a track (14) or tracklessly, the moving table (15) to a work position set with respect to the tool magazine (TM) and to a work position set with respect to the tool storage device; a tool attaching/detaching robot (25) and an air-blow device (30) provided on the moving table (15); and a control device (50) that controls the operation of the moving device (11), the tool attaching/detaching robot (25), and the air-blow device (30). The air-blow device (30) includes an air-blow box (31) having an opening 32 through which the tool T moves in and out and having a space capable of storing the tool T therein, and a pressurized-air discharge part that discharges pressurized air into the air-blow box (31).
