Abstract:
This tool transport system (10) comprises: a machine tool (400) that is capable of machining a workpiece; a tool accommodation part (250) that is configured to be capable of accommodating a plurality of tools; a transport device (300) for transporting a tool from the tool accommodation part (250) to the machine tool (400); and a control unit (50) for controlling the tool transport system (10). The control unit (50) executes: a process for determining whether or not a tool to be transported to the machine tool (400) from the tool accommodation part (250) requires adjustment by a worker; and a process for issuing an alert indicating a need to make adjustment to the to-be-transported tool before said tool is to be used on the machine tool (400) if it is determined that adjustment is required as a result of the determining process.
