Abstract:
A cutting tool which can selectively and variably set thickness, a cutting angle, a cutting shape and the like of a tip of a bar member (e.g. a pencil, a colored pencil, bar-shaped cosmetics, a marker and the like). In the bar member cutting tool having a cutter unit (1) including a bar member insertion hole (W) and one cutting blade (2) whose cutting edge is partly exposed to the insertion hole, a bar member variable inlet forming means comprising a rotational mechanism (17) of the cutting unit (1) and a fixed bar member inlet (18) arranged in a bar member shavings containing case is disposed. Furthermore, a fixed bar member tip control means (5) is disposed in an arbitrary position where said means abuts against the tip of the bar member during cutting in the cutter unit to enable the thickness of the tip of the bar member to be controlled.
