Abstract:
The disclosed tool (1) with a swarf guide is provided with: a cutting tool (2) having a blade part (2b) contacting the workpiece (W); a swarf guide (3) having a poriform swarf guide path (5) with an inlet (5) positioned near the blade part (2b) and an outlet (7) positioned at a distance from the blade part (2b); and a discharge-forcing fluid supply means (20) which supplies a fluid from the middle of the swarf guide path (5) towards the outlet (7). In the inner wall of the swarf guide path (5), the discharge-forcing fluid supply means (20) has a fluid supply port (15) which opens at an incline towards the outlet (7) of said swarf guide path (5). Said fluid supply port (15) is shaped so as to open around the entire circumference of the inner wall of the swarf guide path (5), or shaped so as to open at multiple positions distributed around the circumference thereof.
