The requirements of patent

1. The machine for tooth extracting consists of classical tooth pliers (for each group of teeth there are individual pliers) ,characterised by that, the pliers are joined by firm connection with the vibrator.

2. The machine for tooth extracting according to requirement 1 .characterized by that, the pliers are joined by oval metal ring with vibrator by snap mechanism.

3. The tooth extracting machine according to reqirement 1 and 2, characterized by that, the vibration is deatachable from pliers at any time.

Description:

Toothextracting machine

1. Technical field on which the invention reffers

This invention reffers to toothextracting machine in dental surgery and according to internetional classification of patents it is classified as A61C 3/14 instrument for dental surgery.

2. Technical problem

A constant problem in dental surgery is how to extract a tooth from jaws in an easiest way. Anybody dealing with this problem knows how difficult it is in certain situations, especially when tooth crown is destructed and where clasical methods of tooth extraction are not effective.

3. Technical situation

All classical methods for tooth extraction with classical instruments (pliers, lever and drill) are never effective enough.

The history of tooth extraction is the history of human pain. In 1841. Tomes constructed individual pliers which are, with certain improvements, in use even today.

A toth is a solid object and is extracted from jaws which are, being bones, also a solid object. Tooth is solid and with no elasticity while bone alveole can be enlarged to a certain extent.

A tooth is fixed in alveola with strong and tight conective tissue which are the greatest abstracle when extracting a tooth. The tearing of tissue occures when we extend the limit of elasticity with pliers.

There are two methods of tearing the tissue.1. loosening and 2. rotation.

There is also a combination ot these two methods. By the loosening methods we tear the tissue in the direction from cheek to tongue or from cheek to palate while by rotating method we tear the tissue by central rotating of a tooth around its axe . Only when we feel that tissue is torn we extract the tooth. All these operations should be done slowly and carefully in order not to fracture the tooth. (Kesler B. Extraction of tooth, Beograd 1961.) In periodontium there are many groups of basic clustered tissues, fibres: fibrae septo-gingivales, fibrae gingivodentales, fibrae intradentales, fibrae alveolodentales horisontales, fibrae alveolodentales obliquae, fibrae apicales i fibrae interradiculares. (Petrovic L. Mouth diseases, Belgrade, 1960.)

4. The importance of invention

The basic aim of the invention is tearing tissue with toothextracting machine. We also have to apply a new method for tooth extracting. That method we call vibrational method of tooth extracting.

We use it in initial period and later we combine it with a method of loosening and rotation.

So, the aim of invention is tearing of tissue which conects the tooth with alveol bone.

The tooth extracting machine comprises pliers and vibrator. Connection between pliers and vibrator is strong snap mechanism. Therefore pliers must be modified to be adjustable to joining it to vibrator.

In the moment when tissue is torn pliers can be easily separated from vibrator and thus we can continue tooth extracting by classical method.

5. A short description of drawing

Attached drawings evidently show tooth extracting machine.

Picture 1. shows spacial look of the complete toothextracting machine.

Picture 2. shows separated parts of the machine: plier nad vibrator with the ring for joining parts as one unit.

6. Detailed description of at least one of the ways for the realisation of the invention hi this part we will focus on functional description of Picture 2 ie vibrator. A supposed construction and the functioning of vibrator comes out from the pressure done by molars on the jaws bone.

The pressure (maximum weight) of molars done on jaw bone is 250 kg per square centimetre. If we calculate it by the units of international system SI that pressure is

P=F througs S (F is force, S is size of a surface), ie 250 kg multiplied 9,81 m through s devided by cmon square, p = 2452,5 multiplied 10.000 equals 24,525 000 N through

M on square ( N means Newton ie. unit for force nd m on square means unit for size of a surface)

A variety for solution of invention is construction of the mashine for tooth extracting in its integral form where a pliers and a vibrator would make a whole.

7. The way of appliance of the invention

The invention is a new approach of tooth extraction that principle is formulated in its significance: the machine extracts- the dentist supports. I hope that the experts will understand the true significance of this invention. It is important that the new method is followed by new machine which is a modification of known classical instruments with the addition of vibrational potential.
