Abstract:
The product is an effective toothpick (toothcleaner). The product is the only one of its kind, and this model is produced with the purposes of cleaning the teeth and of improving tooth sanitation.

Scope of the product

The product is a combined toothpick and toothcleaner fitted with an ovalshaped hook at one end, which makes it possible to get into every corner ofthe mouth. The product can be used to clean between the teeth after each meal. The hook can be used to clean the backs ofthe teeth and to massage the gums.

Known technique

Other toothpicks on the market only clean the front ofthe teeth and not the back, and they also do not get into the corners ofthe mouth.

The technical problem that has been solved

With this product we have developed a toothpick (toothcleaner) which is more effective than the toothpicks on the market today and it makes toothcleaning effective and easy. The product can also be used to prevent plaque (tartar) and it has a usefull effect in preventing parondontal disease because the hook can be used to massage the gums.

The new technique

What's new is that the toothpick (toothcleaner) has a hook, which can get into every corner ofthe mouth.

The technical effect

Because of its oval shape, the hook makes it possible for the user to clean the back ofthe teeth , to get into every corner ofthe mouth and to massage the gums very gently.

Futhermore, daily use ofthe toothpick (toothcleaner), helps to prevent the build up of plaque, the user can e.g. "scrape" the front and back ofthe teeth with the hook.

Examples of how to use the product

Figure 2-6 shows the use ofthe product. The toothpick (toothcleaner) is very user friendly. As shown the product has a thin point and a thin hook and the product has an oval shape and in order to obtain the optimal effect so that it does not damage the teeth or the gums but is pleasant to use.
