Abstract:
Provided is a torque estimation device for internal combustion engines with which it is possible to accurately learn variation in output torque of internal combustion engines that is caused by individual differences in internal combustion engines and by changes over time. A torque estimation device (100) for internal combustion engines calculates a first estimated torque (τest1) using torque characteristic data pertaining to the first estimated torque, calculates a second estimated torque (τest2) on the basis of an angular acceleration rate (αd), learns a deviation (Δτest2) between the second estimated torque (τest2) and a preset second-estimated-torque reference value (τest2ref) as an error learning value (Δτlrn), and calculates a value obtained by correcting the first estimated torque (τest1) using the error learning value (Δτlrn) as a third estimated torque (τest3).
